What a month!

Apologies for not having written sooner – it’s been one heck of a month!
I went to Doha couple of weekends ago and caught up with Nat from NZ – had a blast with her even though Doha’s not the greatest place! Interesting to look around and quite a novelty having a 20 min plane ride to be in a new country!
Work is full, full on but loving it. It’s great to have two roles because when you’re over one, the other one is there which means a variety.
Brent and I have split up – started off with some small issues that had been niggling and got a little too in our face to ignore! Was quite hard to actually make that final decision but we’re working on being good friends and getting on with it – especially as we work together! Thanks to those who sent me lovely messages. x
A friend from LML in Wellington died of cancer a couple of weeks ago – far too young and left behind a sweet six mnth old son – sometimes you have to wonder why but she def lived her life to the fullest – so I need to remember that!
Am off to Maldives in a few weeks – just looking forward to soft sand, sun and blue water – pure relaxation. Going with a good kiwi friend from here - Sheryl – so bound to have some laughs.
My boss Andrew is moving on to Saudi to work – so we’ve had a few farewells for him. Trying to be happy for him as he’s excited but gutted about not working for him anymore – quite an inspirational leader.
Have booked my tickets home for two weeks at end of Jan – not looking forward to the flight but so excited about seeing everybody! Will keep you posted of my plans. xxx
