Catching Up!

Ok no excuses - but have been busy hanging out with my "family" - it's so great to have Kalala, Tui, Kiana and Measina here. There's a number of reasons - mostly because having them here feels normal - like home just got a bit closer or something. It doesn't seem quite real that they're here to stay - almost more like a holiday. Tui has started work though and Kalala has a rental car so that makes them a little more permanent.
Took Kalala for her first trip to Dubai yesterday - had to pick up a friend so she came for a ride. A friend described Dubai as "Los Vegas on steriods" - but she loved it as much as I do. We came home after only covering half of one level at the Mall of the Emirates but we have 2-3 years to get through the rest!
Long story but didn't end up needing to do the border run - lots of people labour contracts came through the day before. The funny was that Dave went but didn't have his camera so I lent him mine - only for him to get it confiscated off him! He got two pics before being called over. Now Dave's a great guy and not an intentional law breaker so was rather surprised until they told him no photos and took the camera. No idea how he got it back, but he did and was too nervous to take any more! I haven't seen the pics yet but funny story anyway.
Mo-vember has started here via the rugby club - Tui's signed up so at the end of the month I'll share his progress with you. Lots of our SIPs guys are doing it and will sport beautiful mos for the sevens at the end of this month! Quite good timing!
